The DTC Brands Database covers 24,000 verified direct-to-consumer brands — digitally native vertical brands (DNVBs), subscription-first consumer brands, DTC-led omnichannel brands, and founder-led consumer product companies that sell primarily or exclusively direct to their end customer, bypassing traditional retail distribution in North America.
Every record includes the DTC brand decision-maker — Founder, CMO, VP of Growth, Head of Customer Acquisition, or CEO — with a confirmed work email, LinkedIn URL, product category, primary acquisition channel (paid social, SEO, influencer, email), annual revenue tier, and full brand profile.
DTC brands are fundamentally different from general ecommerce companies (which may include B2B, marketplace, or wholesale-first businesses) and from Shopify stores (which are platform-defined, not business model-defined). DTC brands are defined by their customer ownership strategy — first-party data, owned channels, and direct relationship with the end consumer.
