Pixable was a technology company founded in 2009 by three MIT students. Initially, it focused on photo management by aggregating and sorting photos from various social networks like Facebook and Flickr using machine-learning algorithms. The company developed a web and mobile app that helped users collect and organize their most relevant photos in one place. It also offered a service for creating and printing photo books from Facebook content, enhancing the photo printing experience.
